Santa Barbara Attorney Renée J. Nordstrand-Black For the last 33 years, Renée Nordstrand-Black has represented those who have suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of others. A persuasive and successful trial lawyer and certified negotiator, Renée specializes in all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases including those involving negligence, vehicle collisions and defective products. Bringing decades of experience, tenacity, and a strategic goal-oriented approach, Renée finds every possible avenue and option for recovery no matter how complex the circumstances. Whether taking on big insurance companies to get fair settlements or litigating to attain judgments that fully compensate injured victims for their losses, Renée has won millions of dollars for her clients.

Renée’s determination, compassion and drive for justice were inspired at a young age by three things: Her father, Sheldon Rosenfield, who is still practicing law at age 87; her mother, Elaine Rudin, who earned her BS and MS degrees as an adult with 3 children; and a devastating high school skiing accident which left her hospitalized for weeks. This harrowing experience gave Renée an intimate understanding of the trauma, rehabilitation and ongoing pain a crash victim endures as well as the medical and financial challenges required to heal. Read what Renée’s former clients have shared about their experience.
